In effort to reduce cost in the sterilization process we explored the possibility of switching from ETO sterilization to GAMMA radiation. Many things needed to be considered, including the manufacturing process and the materials used. Would they stand up to the radiation exposure? After it was all said and done we found that it was more expensive to switch to GAMMA radiation.
